Lithology and Thickness
Wan Kasa Fm LITHOLOGY= Marine transgressive sequence, this formation is composed of alternating grey to reddish ferruginous siltstones to shales, with thin layers of gypsum. The siltstones and sandstones coarsen upward into massive-bedded sandstone at the top. Depositional environment was tide-controlled sediment-laden sub-tidal currents to tidal flats (transgressive).
